Let’s face it, being an autism parent can mean increased stress and anxiety as we navigate understanding what our child(ren) needs and then how to get them those supports to feel successful.
Often, our needs are the last on the list. And if your child is like mine way, lack of sleep can be an extra factor for stress and exhaustion. It took me over a decade (maybe closer to two) to put these principles into practice. It is my hope that this guide empowers you to work on some of these things to the benefit of your whole family. A calm, peaceful mom brings that into her whole family.
